Bundesliga live: Here’s the score between WSG Tirol and Sturm Graz

Three games, three clear victories, no goals conceded – Sturm Graz has made a perfect start to the new season with wins against Heart of Midlothian (4-0 and 2-0) and Seekirchen (3-0). The Graz side is unbeaten in 16 games and aims to continue this winning streak at the Tivoli Stadium. However, coach Fabio Ingolitsch and his team are wary, as Sturm lost both matches against WSG Tirol last season, suffering their last defeat on February 14th with a 1-0 loss.

“That last defeat was in Tirol, so we’re wary but also highly motivated going into this game,” explained Ingolitsch. “We need to play to our strengths and play intense and proactive football, then I’m convinced we’ll win this match.” Ingolitsch will have to do without his playmaker Otar Kiteishvili due to a calf injury.

WSG Tirol sold over a dozen players in the summer, so coach Philipp Semlic is still working on building his squad. “We’re not as far along as we were at the end of last season, but that’s normal,” said Semlic. The underdog still believes they have a chance. “It’s not a ‘Mission Impossible.’ We saw last year that we can play well against Sturm Graz,” the coach reminded everyone.
