Wanderlei Silva selects 5 new MMA talents; find out how to participate

An opportunity to change your life within MMA. Privacy, a Brazilian content monetization platform, teamed up with Curitiba Wanderlei Silva to launch a sponsorship program aimed at new Brazilian fighting talents. The initiative will select five athletes, who will receive financial support and mentoring from the former champion and member of the UFC Hall of Fame.

Registration is open until next Monday (31). To participate, interested parties must meet the regulation criteria, fill out the form and send a video of up to three minutes telling their story and explaining why they deserve to be part of the project.

The five selected will receive R$2,000 per month for three months, in addition to a supplement kit, official Privacy fight wear and the opportunity to be part of the team led by Wanderlei Silva. The sponsorship and mentoring period is expected to begin in September.

As project mentor and member of the committee responsible for choosing participants, Wanderlei Silva highlights that the lack of incentive is still one of the main obstacles for Brazilian athletes.

“What athletes lack most is encouragement. They often need to work and train at the same time, and I experienced this for many years. When a brand believes in you and offers support, it not only helps financially, but also makes the athlete believe in themselves more. If we can ensure that an athlete doesn’t give up their career because of this project, our mission will already be accomplished.”

During the three-month duration of the initiative, athletes will be monitored by Wanderlei Silva, with guidance related to preparation, professional development and the routine of a high-performance competitor.

Privacy will also monitor the participants’ progress, recording training, behind-the-scenes, challenges and achievements throughout the project.
