Injury against Arsenal: “Small muscle tear” – Díaz is out

Díaz had already complained about complaints after his hat-trick in last Saturday’s Bundesliga game against RB Leipzig (6-1). “We are happy that he is there at all,” said coach Vincent Kompany before the duel with Arsenal. Díaz came off the bench against the Gunners (68th), but was injured and had to be substituted again (90th).

For the Munich team, it is the next serious failure in a series of demanding weeks with cracking games. Director Jamal Musiala is also not yet operational again. The suspended Michael Olise and Joshua Kimmich were also missing against Arsenal due to a bereavement in the family. At least this duo is expected back for the top game on Sunday (5.30 p.m./DAZN) at SC Freiburg.
