The UAE Warriors 42 takes place on May 20 at the Etihad in Abu Dhabi. Two Croatian MMA fighters debut in the organization.
Karlo Caput (9-3) goes against the German Attila Korkmaz (12-7) in the lightweight (-70 kg). Filip Marić (1-0) fights with Russian Ullubi Amiržanov (1-0) in featherweight (-66).
Caput fought his last fight in mid-March. At the Golden Fight 2 event in Dubrava, he won by choking the Serbian fighter Zoran Srećković in the first round.
The aforementioned Marić made his professional debut at the same event. He defeated Fran Luka Đurić, one of the biggest potentials of domestic MMA, by choking in the second round. UAE Warriors can be followed via UFC Fight Pass.
