“Racists must be exposed and the parties cannot continue with them in the stands”

The Real Madrid striker condemns “three despicable cases of racism this Saturday alone” in Spanish football

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Jr lamented a bad day for Spanish football due to “three despicable cases of racism”, demanding forceful measures and that matches not be resumed until “the racists leave the fields”.

“This weekend, I won’t even play. But we had three despicable cases of racism in Spain this Saturday alone,” he wrote on his ‘X’ social network account, late in the day.

The Brazilian referred to the racist insults to Marcos Acuña and Quique Sánchez Flores during Sevilla’s visit to Getafe, and to the insults to Rayo Majadahonda’s Senegalese goalkeeper, Cheikh Sarr, in Sestao. “All my support to Acuña and coach Quique Flores, of Sevilla. To Sarr and Majadahonda, may their bravery inspire others. The racists must be exposed and the games cannot continue with them in the stands,” wrote ‘Vini ‘.

The Real Madrid forward closed his message demanding severe measures against racists. “We will only have victory when the racists leave the stadiums straight to jail, a place they deserve,” he concluded.
