A successful conclusion to the third Emirates Cup for Arabian Horses in America

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Cabinet, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, the city of Scottsdale, in the American state of Arizona, witnessed the third championship of the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses, which was held within the most prestigious “Breeders’ World Cup.” Arabian horse beauty championships since 1955.

The championship was witnessed and the winning horses were crowned by Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association. The filly “Al Nour Meralina” by Al Noor Stud won the gold title in the filly championship, and was runner-up and won the silver title “Vision of Love INB” for Synergy Project Development, while it won the Bronze title “Elegance A” by Alexandra Houdesman.

The colt “Rafael SPA” by the Estella Bella Stud topped the colts championship and won the gold title, came in second place and won the silver title “Sinatra” by Joseph Apollo, while the bronze title went to “RD Bacro” by Maury Bobwell.

“OFW Luxury” by Tenreza Longuetter won the gold title in the mares category, and “Natalia BCF” by Maury Bobwell won the silver title, while “Justina INP” by Synergy for Project Development won the bronze title.

The Breeders’ World Cup witnessed the participation of 117 horses, while 47 horses from North America, belonging to 34 owners from the United States, Canada, and Mexico, participated in the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses.

The Emirates World Cup for Horse Beauty was launched in September last year, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and includes 10 tournaments held in countries from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia and America. South and North America, in coordination with the competent authorities in those countries, and financial prizes were allocated to the winners from first to fifth place. (WAM)
