Ralf Schumacher shook the hard prediction about Valtteri Bottas – Sports

Will the Finn’s F1 career continue after all? Ralf Schumacher believes so.

F1 driver Valtteri Bottas Sauber’s time is probably running out. The team, which will start as Audi’s factory team in the 2026 season, recently signed a three-year contract with the champion driver Nico Hülkenberg’s with.

The German Hülkenberg is reminiscent of the German car giant. For the second place, the stable’s own academy driver is available, among other things Theo Pourchaire. However, the number one goal is the one coming from Ferrari Carlos Sainzwho has reportedly received a gigantic offer from Audi quite some time ago.

It has not been directly said that Bottas will be without a place in the team, but it seems likely.

Hulkenberg’s departure leaves at least one driver free for the Haas team. Working as an expert for Sky Sports Ralf Schumacher said after the Hülkenberg news that he believed that Bottas would reciprocate to Haas.

“They still need an experienced, good driver. I don’t think so Kevin Magnussen enough for the stable. It will be exciting to see who goes there. I’d bet it’s Bottas, but we’ll see,” Schumacher said.

Bottas is in his third season with Sauber.

Haas has favored more experienced drivers in recent years after Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin failed in the stable at the turn of the decade.

In addition to Haas, Alpine, the RB team and Bottas’ ex-team Williams have vacancies in the middle-class teams for next season.
