Premier League: Chelsea’s Jimi Tauriainen debuts in the Premier League – Sports

Chelsea were ruthless hosts against Tottenham.

20 years old Jimi Tauriainen got his first minute of football in the English Premier League on Thursday.

Tauriainen entered the field in the fourth minute of added time in Chelsea’s victory against Tottenham. Chelsea won the match at home 2–0.

They were responsible for Chelsea’s goals Trevoh Chalobah and Nicholas Jackson.

The match was Tauriainen’s second in Chelsea’s representative team this season. He also played for a while in the FA Cup match against Leeds in February.

Loss was a severe blow to Tottenham, who are fighting for a place in the Champions League. That’s seven points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, and England won’t get a fifth place in the Champions League next season.

The victory lifted Chelsea to eighth in the Premier League. The team playing a weak season got a little elixir for their dreary season with the win. A little over a week ago, the club lost to another local enemy from London, Arsenal, by no less than 0–5.
