Barça reissues the F League title, fifth in a row

FC Barcelona Femení has mathematically sealed the title of the 2023/24 F League this Saturday, thanks to its comfortable 1-4 victory in its visit to Granada CF during matchday 26, signed with a double from Fridolina Rolfö, a goal from Lucy Bronze and another from Caroline Graham Hansen.

At the Nuevo Los Cármenes, the culés opened the scoring in the 2nd minute with a close-range shot by Rolfö, inside the area and taking advantage of a cross from Graham Hansen from the baseline on the right side. Bronze scored 0-2 in the 11th minute, with a header on a mistake by the rival goalkeeper after a cross-shot by Alexia Putellas from the left wing.

Graham Hansen made it 0-3 after half an hour of play, with a shot at will after a lofted cross from Rolfö from the left, which overshot the Granada goalkeeper. Laura Pérez reduced the deficit by converting a penalty just before the break, but Rolfö scored again in the 74th minute, also converting a maximum penalty.

Thanks to this victory in Granada, Barça reissued its First Division title and won its fifth in a row, having reached 76 points from its lead. Real Madrid, which is second with 61 points, can no longer chase the Blaugranas because it only has five games left and has lost the goal difference.
