Zappacosta and Ruggeri on the wings, while De Roon will position himself as the right-hand man in a defense also made up of Hien and Djimsiti. Musso confirmed between the posts.

The Nerazzurri started off strong straight away and in the 6th minute De Keteleare hit the post. Koopmeiners inserts the ball, with the Dutchman entering the area but remaining on the ground. Marseille becomes dangerous in the 27th minute: Kondogbia cuts in centrally and tries a shot with his right foot but the ball, twisted, ends up far from the post. Shortly afterwards Atalanta passes: in the 30th minute De Keteleare finds space in the middle of the field and extends for Lookman who comes back on the right at the edge of the area and finds the goal in the bottom right corner. Atalanta doesn’t stop and in the 34th minute another great save by De Keteleare for Lookman who slides to the ground, allowing Pau Lopez to clear. At the beginning of the second half Marseille had the opportunity to take it back. In the 50th minute Clauss beats Djimsiti and sends Ndiaye towards goal but the Senegalese striker sees Musso outside the posts and tries the lob, with the ball finishing just wide. But in the 52nd minute Atalanta closed it out with a Eurogoal from Ruggeri: triangle with Lookman and curling shot under the right corner for 2-0. The French try to reopen it in the 63rd minute but a strange parable from Veretout from a free kick hits the crossbar directly. Then in the 80th minute Koopmeiners tried from outside and the ball was blocked by Pau Lopez. In full recovery Atalanta scores the hat trick: in the 94th minute El Bilal Touré scored and recovered the ball high on the lefthe heads alone towards the opponent’s goal and beats Pau Lopez for the final 3-0 in the Nerazzurri’s triumph.
