LG extends the availability of LG Gaming Portal to new devices

LG Electronics has announced an important expansion for its game platform, LG Gaming Portal. Initially available on LG smart TVs equipped with a webos23 operating system and subsequent versions, the portal will soon also be accessible on other brand devices, including Smart Monitor and Lifestyle TV, such as the Touch Screen LG Stanby Model. The implementation is expected by half of the current year. The extension marks a significant step in the evolution of LG Gaming Portal, consolidating its position as a centralized hub for the gaming experience. The platform aims to offer simplified access to a wide range of playful content, ranging from recent AAA titles to games developed natively for Webos, to cloud gaming applications.

In this regard, LG revealed the introduction, scheduled for 2025, of Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming support. This service will be added to those already present, including Amazon Luna, Boosteroid, Blacknut and Nvidia GeForce Now, further expanding the options available to users. Access to LG Gaming Portal takes place directly from the initial webos screen, through an interface designed for maximum intuitiveness. Users can navigate between different categories of content, which include cloud gaming services, webos games, recently played titles, rankings of the most popular games and well -kept selections. The “My Page” section offers customization features, allowing the monitoring of game progress, the obtaining of badge and the display of detailed statistics. The “My Games” menu instead allows you to create a personalized library with favorite titles, for quick and immediate access.
