The meeting “Innovation, AI and Cybersecurity: towards a new national paradigm” at Palazzo Giustiniani brings together experts and institutions to define the strategies of digital transformation.
The Senate of the Republic is hosting an institutional discussion dedicated to the definition of a new model of digital resilience for the country system in the Sala Zuccari of Palazzo Giustiniani. The event, promoted on the initiative of Senator Cantalamessa, focuses on the integration between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, analyzing its impact on economic development, national security and global technological competition. The program addresses the critical issues related to the governance of digital transformation and the need to consolidate collaboration between the public and private sectors.
At the center of the debate are the implementation of integrated security architectures and the protection of strategic infrastructures from constantly evolving cyber threats. The planned technical interventions analyze how the adoption of AI influences the geopolitical balance and the competitive capacity of companies. Gabriele Ferrieri, President of the National Association of Young Innovators (ANGI), underlined that the meeting represents “an opportunity to discuss priorities and strategies regarding AI and cybersecurity, with the aim of consolidating the country’s digital competitiveness and encouraging collaboration between institutions and businesses”.
The panel of speakers reflects the complexity of the technological challenge, including representatives from the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), policy analysts and military leaders with experience at NATO Headquarters. The discussion also involves key players in the private sector and technology education, including Netgroup, BIP, Maticmind, Cisco, Nscale and EPICODE Institute of Technology. The comparison aims to chart a course for the development of specialist skills, considered fundamental to support industrial innovation and ensure proactive cyber defense in a context of growing digital instability.
