Search Live arrives in Spain with the Gemini 3.1 Flash Live audio and voice model

Search Live has begun its expansion with the Gemini 3.1 Flash Live artificial intelligence model to enable interactive conversations with Google Search in real time in more countries, including Spain.

Search Live or Live Search is an intelligent function that combines real-time conversational search with the Gemini Live camera with Google Search in ‘AI Mode’.

This smart search format was announced at the Google I/O developer event in May of last year, and after a test at AI Mode Labs, it arrived in the United States in September.

Now, Google has confirmed its expansion to more than 200 countries and territories, as long as they have the ‘AI Mode’ of the Search engine available. This includes Spain and support for Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque, as Google confirmed in a statement.

This expansion has been made hand in hand with the new Gemini 3.1 Flash Live audio and voice model, since, according to Google, it is “inherently multilingual” and is designed so that conversations, in any of the supported languages, are “more natural, with greater speed and reliability.”

Search Live is available by opening the Google app on Android or iOS. By pressing the ‘Live’ icon, users will be able to ask their question out loud and, if they enable the camera, they will be able to visual context or access a fluid chat directly from Google Lens.
