The video games They continue with the trend of not staying on the console or cell phone. The world of Minecraft – known for its blocks, biomes and total freedom to create – will arrive in a different format to enhance anger in children and adolescents.

From May 15Buenos Aires will host the world premiere of Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trailan immersive proposal that seeks to transfer the game to real life.

The experience will take place every day from 7 p.m. in Ciudad Universitaria and proposes an outdoor night tour where participants must complete a collaborative mission in different scenarios inspired by the game.

Behind the project are Mojang Studios —creators of Minecraft— along with the production companies Experience MOD and Supply + Demand, specialized in large-scale immersive experiences.

The initiative is not entirely new, as it is part of a global series of events that began with Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescuethe first real-life adventure based on the game.

In that format, participants had to rescue villagers through missions in different biomes, collecting resources and facing enemies as a team. The experience was itinerant and passed through cities such as Dallas, London and Toronto, with a strong turnout.

The new “Moonlight Trail” takes that foundation and expands it with a different approach: a night tour, outdoors and with greater technological and narrative integration.

The proposal combines technology, scenography and public participation. Attendees advance in groups through a circuit with different “biomes”, that is, environments characteristic of the game.

During the tour, visitors pass through forests, caves and ruins inspired by the Minecraft universe, interact with challenges designed to collect resources and face creatures from the game in a dynamic designed for teamwork. Everything is part of a central narrative: restore an old lighthouse.

The experience begins in an initial space called “Camp”, where the story is presented and the groups are organized. From there, the journey proposes team dynamics through eight different zones until a closing with a final confrontation and an instance of celebration in a “village.”

The format is designed for both regular players and families or people who have never had contact with the game, with a simple learning curve and support throughout the entire journey.

According to the organizers, the design of the event includes low environmental impact criteria. The routes are adapted to the natural environment, sound levels are controlled and efficient energy solutions are used.

In addition, the movements of local fauna are evaluated to avoid interference, in line with practices that are increasingly common in massive outdoor events.

The event will officially begin on May 15, 2026 and will develop every day from the 19 in University Cityin the City of Buenos Aires.

Tickets depart from $44.000 and can be purchased through Ticketek and the event’s official site. The organization arranged a pre-sale with financial benefits of up to six interest-free installments for Banco Santander clients. The general sale is active.

Its proposal is based on total freedom: players can explore, build, survive or create their own worlds without a single objective. That flexibility transformed it into a cultural phenomenon that crosses generations and platforms.
