From Game of Thrones to the big screen: Elden Ring becomes a blockbuster

Filming will begin this spring, bringing to the set a team of actors that ranges from the new icons of genre cinema to the most solid faces on the international scene. Kit Connor and Cailee Spaeny will lead an ensemble cast that also stars Ben Whishaw, Tom Burke and Nick Offerman, alongside performers of the caliber of Jonathan Pryce and Sonoya Mizuno.

The variety of performers involved, which also includes Havana Rose Liu, Peter Serafinowicz and Jefferson Hall, aims to give substance to a screenplay that will have to translate into images the complexity of a universe where the exploration of the unknown and the overcoming of brutal challenges represent the heart of the experience. The ambition of the project lies precisely in wanting to keep the cryptic identity of the original work intact, entrusting the vision to a production company known for its authorial approach and distant from the more obvious logic of traditional blockbusters.
