Twenty years of ROG: Asus celebrates the anniversary at Computex 2026

The core of the hardware proposal is represented by the ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 motherboard, which stands out for the native integration of an all-in-one liquid cooling system dedicated to both the processor and the voltage regulation modules. The unit comes with nine M.2 storage slots and a 6.67-inch dual AMOLED display setup. This is accompanied by the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 video card, a module capable of managing energy absorption of up to 800W. The GPU adopts a four-fan dissipation system with a vapor chamber and liquid metal, as well as a curved AMOLED screen for displaying system metrics, which can be synchronized directly with the motherboard parameters. To support these power requirements, the line includes the Thor 3000W Titanium III power supply, developed with server-grade GaN technology and designed to handle the load demands of multi-GPU configurations.

On the pre-assembled computers front, the offer is divided between compact solutions and high-performance desktop configurations. The ROG NUC 16 Edition 20 model packs an RTX 5090 laptop GPU into a minimal chassis, ensuring the management of five 4K displays simultaneously. For traditional desktop systems, the ROG G1000 Edition 20 was presented, which integrates for the first time a holographic fan system called AniMe Holo for the projection of personalized visual content. The internal configuration involves the adoption of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and the RTX 5090 graphics card.

The monitor segment sees the introduction of the Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G model, a 26.5-inch panel characterized by a dual operating mode that allows the transition from QHD resolution at 540Hz to HD resolution at 720Hz, a solution designed to optimize fluidity in competitive titles. The peripheral range is completed by the Azoth Extreme keyboard, the Harpe II Extreme mouse and the Rapture GT-BE98 Pro router, a device compatible with the Wi-Fi 7 standard capable of reaching theoretical transfer speeds of up to 30Gbps.

The 20th anniversary celebration extends beyond the boundaries of traditional hardware with the launch of lifestyle accessories and mobility solutions. Among these, a line of hard suitcases and technical backpacks from the SLASH series for the safe transport of gaming equipment, and the brand’s first physical board game, called ROG Saga: In Search of Lapuntu.

The overview ends with the ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle, a portable system based on the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with OLED screen, distributed in combination with the ROG XREAL R1 augmented reality glasses. The gaming laptop now has a slightly larger screen, at 7.4 inches, to ensure greater immersion and visibility. The Nebula HDR display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro support, and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. The next-generation ROG XBOX Ally
