AI, Cyber ​​and Aerospace Technical Roundtable at the Chamber

During the work sessions, specialists and experts from different industrial and research segments spoke, including William Nonnis for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Nino Guarnacci of Salesforce, Alessandra Santacroce, Director of Institutional Relations of IBM Italia, and Arturo Intelisano of Thales Alenia Space Italia. The debate highlighted how artificial intelligence, cybersecurity architectures and aerospace engineering constitute three closely interconnected domains, no longer manageable as watertight compartments but as elements of a single defense and economic development strategy. Mirko Leanza of Teleconsys, Marco Rosci of the EPICODE Institute of Technology, RINA managers Alessio Ponte and Danilo Giacomo Diomede, Vittorio Piccinini of Lutech and Manuel Gomez of Algorint also contributed to the technical analysis, outlining the training and structural requirements necessary to fill the skills gap in highly specialized digital markets.

The discussion also examined the role of companies specializing in the provision of advanced services and in the design of aerospace and data monitoring systems. Contributions from David Avino of Argotec, Leonardo Arcangeli of D-Orbit, Alessandro Di Felice of SpaceExe, Niccolò de Carlo of Sensoworks and Massimiliano Vaccari of Hipert focused attention on the need to implement native and resilient cybersecurity standards within satellite constellations and edge computing systems. The participants agreed on the fact that the strengthening of the productive fabric depends on the ability to structure horizontal cooperation agreements between large companies and the innovative startup sector, facilitating technological transfer and the protection of corporate and public information assets.

The conclusions of the work highlighted the need to establish permanent discussion tables to align regulatory evolution with the sudden technological transformations of the markets. Gabriele Ferrieri, President of the National Association of Young Innovators, set out the organisation’s programmatic lines, declaring that: “The Technical Roundtable represents a moment of discussion between institutions and companies on the issues that will define the future of our economy and our security. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and aerospace are pillars of an integrated strategy for the country’s innovation. As ANGI we will continue to promote dialogue and collaboration to enhance Italian talent, support the growth of technological companies and strengthen international competitiveness“. The meeting concluded with the indication to proceed with the drafting of operational documents aimed at facilitating investments in research and structuring academic and professional paths suitable to support the employment needs of the aerospace industry and national IT security.
