It’s Google announced the redesign of Kart back in October with new color palettes that many have only recently noticed on their mobile phones and computers.
The main change is that the roads are no longer yellow and white, as they have been for years, but are now grey, and this is exactly what angered many.
They also changed the colors of the parks and other forest areas to a different shade of green, and the buildings are still gray and yellow. Google pointed out that the buildings will look more realistic, which should make navigation easier.
Navigation should also be easier on motorways and expressways, especially on interchanges and junctions.
Of course, such changes did not sit well with many at the moment there is no option to revert this layout back to the old one.
Many people complained about the new colors on Twitter, but also on Reddit, where the discussion about the redesign has almost 300 comments.
Some complain that various things on the maps are now too similar and that the maps are not legible.
– I want my yellow lines – writes another, and one adds that this is classic Google fixing something that was perfectly fine.
