Israeli nature has become an inspiration for the development of an air defense system

Developers, engineers, and basically anyone involved in creation and development, need inspiration. And there is nothing better than finding peace and inspiration in nature. Exactly for this, Elbit Systems engineers went out to work in the National Parks of the Nature and Parks Authority – as an inspiring site for the development of the next generation of aircraft protection systems.

As part of the “Routine Break” Day, development teams in the Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Division worked from the Nature Park and National Parks Authority’s National Park benches.

“The Labor Day at the National Site,” Elbit explained, “was designed to inspire and brainstorm for the development of the next generation of advanced defense systems and took place at the Migdal Tzedek site near a spectacular Crusader fortress built in the Middle Ages. And the green landscape. ”

The Open Space complexes in the National Parks of the Nature and Parks Authority – Elbit systems were found suitable for the company’s engineers as an inspiring workplace for the development of advanced electro-optical protection systems, for creating innovative thinking and as a special site to work and study in the open air and landscape.

The dedicated complexes, which are equipped with seating areas with desks, Wi-Fi and power points for charging computers and mobile phones, are suitable for Elbit Systems’ needs for a working day in a different atmosphere, the company further explained.

Vidi, the company’s director of electronics engineering, notes that “Elbit Systems, as an innovative and dynamic company, encourages its development teams to hold work meetings, even outside the company’s complexes, to encourage thinking outside the box and an atmosphere that encourages work crews to think and develop the next thing in aircraft protection systems.” .

The meeting joins the meeting that took place on the website of the Nature and Parks Authority in Ein Hemed and as part of this tradition, another working day is planned in the national park in Tel Arad, followed by Megiddo.

According to Dr. Hagai Dvir, Director of the Tourism Product Department at the Nature and Parks Authority: “The Open Space project is an innovative project that provides favorable conditions for work and learning in Israeli nature. The project is designed to provide a solution for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable corner in a relaxed atmosphere while connecting to nature. We expect that the general public, including employees, the self-employed, students and high-tech workers who can work and study remotely, will find interest and comfort in these complexes both for work and personal learning and for business and study meetings with others in an experiential and special way as nature knows to offer.

“Following the success of the project and feedback from visitors,” said Elbit, “the Nature and Parks Authority has upgraded the open workspaces with new signage, additional electrical outlets have been added, Wi-Fi reception has been improved and existing complexes have been expanded.” “Nationalities throughout the country that meet these needs and have prepared dedicated and well-equipped open-air complexes. In addition, active service centers have been established at some of the sites, which make it possible to purchase hot and cold drinks and a variety of food products.”

On the occasion of the spring season, new sites have joined the open space complexes: Migdal Tzedek National Park, Megiddo National Park, Tel Arad National Park and Dor-Habonim Beach Nature Reserve. These complexes join those that already operate in Beit Shearim National Park, Ein Afek Nature Reserve, Yarkon National Park – Tel Afek Complex, Ein Hemed National Park, Tel Beer Sheva National Park and Mamshit National Park. These 9 sites are very close to cities and towns or a short drive away and they offer ample free parking.
