Spanish SMEs print more than 1,000 pages a month and seek to be sustainable without losing productivity

HP bets on OfficeJet Pro to combine efficiency and sustainability in offices

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) represent 99.8% of the business network in Spain, according to data from the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, and document printing remains a fundamental part of your daily life, with the aim of being “more productive and efficient” and improving communication. This is revealed by a report by the consulting firm GFK, which details that both SMEs and self-employed people print an average of 1,100 pages per month.

This study collects other interesting data about the printing sector, such as the fact that the change of printers within the SMEs themselves is carried outon average, every 3.9 years. In the same way, the report detects the needs of companies and self-employed people, who are looking for printers that are “easy to use”, with “economical consumables” and “that do not cause problems.”

However, not everything is related to operational efficiency. Another point that most concerns employees and managers of these small companies is that the devices are sustainable. In this context, HP has launched the series of printers HP OfficeJet Prowith which it seeks to enhance business productivity, keeping SMEs at the forefront at a technological level, but focusing on sustainability.

This family of printers is designed to make work easier from home or from the office and have HP’s own security layer which prevents the printer from becoming an entry point for cyber attacks, another of the aspects that most concern companies at the moment.

LESS WASTE AND EASIER RECYCLING

Specifically, 83% of SMEs believe that sustainability in the workplace is important. With the new HP OfficeJet Pro the American company promises less need for cartridge replacement, which reduces the carbon footprint and waste of companies. In addition to generating less waste, it offers a simple and free recycling system through the HP Planet Partners program.

To make these processes even easier, so that company operations do not stop and recycling is more efficient and boost savings, the Instant Ink subscription allows professionals receive the ink directly to the door of your business before it runs out, including -also- a postage-paid envelope so that they can send the spent cartridges to be recycled at no extra cost. More than 12 million people around the world already use this smart ink delivery service.

With Instant Ink the user gets to save up to 70% on ink or 50% on toner and has flexible printing plans that you can change or cancel at any time at no additional cost. This also applies to small businesses, which can print up to 700 pages per month for 27.99 euros.

COMMIT TO PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY

HP OfficeJet Pro is designed for those businesses that need productive color printers in your office that save time and increase productivity and efficiency. Get more done in less time with faster print speeds, two-sided printing/scanning, and additional paper trays.

This way, businesses can print up to 25 pages per minute and have up to 500 pages in the input tray. This ink printer is a pioneer in the sector by including DCI-P3 color support (they are the first A3 printers on the market to have this P3 color quality standard), offering a 25% wider color gamut than sRGB, according to HP data.

Likewise, it has larger touch screens and a new, modern interface to get tasks done faster, while allowing users to print, scan, copy or fax directly from their mobile phone with the HP Smart app.

With integrated cloud solutions, such as HP SmartApp, HP Wolf Pro Security protection and self-healing dual-band WiFi, HP has reimagined the OfficeJet Pro series to help small and medium-sized businesses stay ahead in today’s fast-paced world, where hybrid working has highlighted the importance of printing in the personal and professional spheres.
