Samsung announced the expansion of the functions of its artificial intelligence Galaxy AI for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus tablets and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

Galaxy AI will be available on devices starting tomorrow, March 28, along with the One UI 6.1 software update.

Launched in January 2024, Galaxy AI enables a differentiated user experience by embedding artificial intelligence in everyday tasks such as calling and messaging.

“Galaxy AI not only opens the doors to a new era of mobile Artificial Intelligence, but also puts the power of innovation in the hands of users, allowing them to explore the limitless possibilities of the technology,” commented Antonio Quintas, senior vice president of Samsung Mobile Experience for Latin America. “And with this new update we democratize people’s access to the facilities that only Artificial Intelligence can offer”

Among the available functions are simultaneous call translation and the interpreter function, which makes it possible to translate conversations into 13 different languages ​​in real time. Other features include writing assistants and wizards, as well as photo editing tools that allow you to delete and modify images in an easier and faster way.

Additionally, search capabilities are enhanced through Circle to search with Google, which generates intuitive search results with a quick circular motion gesture. And to optimize their work and study routine, users can now count on resources such as the transcription assistant – which transforms audio into text.
