“Hollow Knight Silksong” close to release? New evidence indicates yes | Xbox | Game Pass | Steam | PlayStation | Nintendo | TECHNOLOGY

Five years have passed since the release of “Hollow Knight” and its fans are still eagerly seeking news of its announced sequel, “Silksong”, in a wait that is gaining reputations similar to that of “Duke Nukem Forever.”

This wait could be close to over and there are signs that the game would be close to being released, in particular its appearance in the Xbox virtual store.

And although this appearance occurred during April 1, considered April Fool’s Day in various parts of the world, there are reasons to believe that it is not a joke, including the statements of Xbox marketing manager, Tao Sila.

“This is not an April Fools’ Day joke,” he wrote. by the social network formerly known as Twitterassuring desperate fans that they are not playing with their feelings.

It should be noted that “Hollow Knight Silksong” also previously had pages on stores like Steam, PlayStation Store and Nintendo, the Xbox page reveals two new things. The first is its classification in the ESRB system as suitable for ages 10 and up, something particularly relevant because these ratings are only given by the appropriate entity when they have been able to review the game, therefore it is complete or close to complete.

The second revelation, perhaps more important for Game Pass subscribers, is that “Hollow Knight Silksong” will be free for users of this service on the day of its launch.

With this, we are one step closer to being able to explore Hallownest again and, perhaps, relive the excitement of one of the best ‘metroidvanias’ of all time.
