DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 foresees a global growth of 20 percent in its 17th edition with the attendance of more than 1,400 executives from 40 countries, 140 speakers and 120 partners, figures that consolidate this meeting as the most important event in the IT industry. data centers in southern Europe.

The event, which will take place on May 21 and 22 at the Eurostars Tower hotel in Madrid, will give a prominent role this year to the Nordic countries as an example of environmental sustainability in the construction and operation of data centers.

Likewise, the Valencian Community will be the invited region, a novelty in this event, due to the differential factors that make it one of the areas of Spain with the greatest growth potential in digital infrastructures, as reported in a press release from the organization.

DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 hopes to be, once again, a meeting point between public and private sector actors, promoting the analysis and debate of the issues that most concern the industry, such as regulation for data centers, access to energy, the capacity to respond to growing global demand or the role of associations in promoting the sector.

The event expects to receive more than 1,400 executives from 40 countries, and hold some 70 sessions, including round tables, presentations and debates, in which more than 140 speakers will participate, representatives of the world’s main data center companies, administrations public entities, investment funds and associations.

These figures represent a growth of 20 percent, which consolidates DCD>Connect Madrid as the most important event in the data center sector in southern Europe.

The manager highlighted that in each new edition they have “exceeded the attendance figures of previous years”, which “demonstrates not only the growing interest in this industry, but also that spaces are necessary to talk, reflect, analyze and reach agreements that consolidate the growth of the sector”.
