Milestone and Feld Motor Sports have announced new details regarding Monster Jam Showdown, the next title in the Monster Jam video game franchise. The key art and release date have been revealed, setting the game’s launch for August 29, 2024. The title will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series Epic Games Store. Users will have early access starting August 26, 2024.
Grave Digger and Megalodon, two of the most popular vehicles among fans, were selected to introduce the game. These trucks, characterized respectively by a ghostly black and green design and an appearance inspired by prehistoric marine predators, will be at the center of high-speed chases set in Colorado. The location is just one of three environments inspired by the American outdoors where players will be able to compete, using one of the 66 official trucks available in the game.
Monster Jam Showdown will also feature races in Death Valley and Alaska, enriching the experience with a total offering of 10 different game modes. In addition to traditional competitions, the game will offer challenges in three different stadium categories, inspired by real locations, allowing players to experience the excitement of official Monster Jam competitions.
