The technological career is also in the field of humanoid robots. Manufacturers such as Tesla, Xiaomi, Boston Dynamic or Figure 01 have taken important steps, but there is another brand that seeks to gain prominence in Europe.

Sanctuary AI has announced that its humanoid robot Phoenix will soon be working in a car factory. Specifically he would be in charge of the assembly work.

According to a report from the El Español-Omicrono website, the field tests will be carried out in the factory of the Austrian company Magna, which is responsible for assembling brands such as BMW or Jaguar.

However, it is not yet known how many robots will be available or which factory they will be working in. The truth is that its announcement competes with Figure 01, which would also begin operating in BMW manufacturing plants in the Spartansburg area (United States).

What is known is that the robot is 170 centimeters tall, weighs 70 kilos, can walk at 4.8 km/h, and has a maximum load capacity of 25 kilos.

On the other hand, it has an artificial intelligence control system called Carbon, which allows the robot to identify movement patterns and thus create a repertoire of relevant actions. According to the company, “it mimics subsystems of the human brain such as memory, vision, hearing and touch.”

In addition, a human operator can use a virtual reality helmet and motion capture equipment so that using their cameras and sensors they can control the robot remotely.
