Sony introduces BRAVIA 7, 8 and 9 TVs, along with BRAVIA Theater speakers, to bring cinema to the home

Sony has presented his new BRAVIA televisions with the models 7, 8 and 9, highlighting the latter for its Mini LED technology and its ability to offer great image luminosity, deep blacks, superior contrast and natural colors, all together with its new BRAVIA Theater home audio products to bring the cinema sound experience to the home.

With the increase in streaming services, with which practically any film content can currently be viewed from home, the Japanese company has shared its intention to renew the BRAVIA brand as a set of devices designed for watching movies and to “enrich the best home theater experience”, bringing together televisions, sound bars and other home audio technologies.

In this sense, Sony has presented its new BRAVIA 7, 8 and 9 televisions, with those who ensure increase “even more” the feeling of reality of cinematographic content and offers a better picture and sound quality at hometo view content “just as the filmmaker intended.”

As the technology company has detailed in a statement, as a common denominator all the new televisions are Equipped with Sony’s XR processor, which has a scene recognition system capable of detecting and analyzing data with “high precision.” In this way, it manages to optimize the images with the “maximum possible realism.” Specifically, the company has highlighted the new BRAVIA 9 television models, with a panel QLED Mini LED, 4K Ultra HD resolution and versions in 75 and 85 inches.

This series stands out for its high maximum illumination technology, among other things, thanks to its Mini LED technology. Thus, it offers the highest possible brightness on these televisions, along with precise backlight control, ensuring that all areas of the screen are correctly illuminated and therefore allowing you to discover “even the smallest details” in each scene. In fact, the company has indicated that in these televisions they have achieved up to approximately 50 percent more brightness than the 2023 X95L model.

Following this line, BRAVIA 9 televisions include the tecnologĂ­a Backlight Master Drive. This is a system that, as Sony has explained, uses a unique local dimming algorithm. With this, it is possible to precisely control the thousands of LEDs that make up the television panel to offer authentic contrast and, in this way, preserve shadow detail in dark scenes and complex. This technology It is also present in the BRAVIA 7 series.

Continuing with the BRAVIA 9 models, they also have the X-Anti Reflection and X-Wide Angle technologies. With the first, the television shows sharper images with fewer reflections and flares, so that discomfort caused by the sun or lighting from a lamp is avoided. For its part, X-Wide Angle keeps the appearance of the images on the screen equally natural whether they are viewed from the sides or in the center.

In terms of sound quality, BRAVIA 9 televisions integrate the function Acoustic Multi-Audio+. With this technology, as the company has highlighted, they have become the first televisions “in the world” with a top-beam tweeter speaker and another with a frame on the sideswhich guarantees cinema-like surround sound.

BRAVIA 7 AND 8 TVS

As for the BRAVIA 7 and 8 televisions, Sony has introduced the BRAVIA 8 series with OLED technology in the 55 and 77 inch versions. For its part, the BRAVIA 7 QLED series also has a panel Mini LED and has been launched in the versions of 55, 75 y 85 inches.

Likewise, in relation to the reproduction of streaming content, all new models feature Studio Calibrated mode. FILM SOUND WITH BRAVIA THEATER

In addition to its new televisions, Sony has also presented its new line of BRAVIA Theater home audio productswith which it tries to offer the same immersive audio of movie theaters in homes.

Thus, Sony has presented BRAVIA Theatre Ua new ‘neckband’ style speaker – which is placed around the neck -, providing personal immersive sound. As the company has explained, it allows you to experience a large volume without having to be aware of the people around you. That is, each viewer can enjoy “clear and immersive” sound with the freedom to adjust the volume to the desired level.

On the other hand, the Japanese firm has launched the new BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 and 9 sound bars, in addition to Theatre Quada system of four flat speakers placed in vertical format.

Likewise, the company has highlighted that the new BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 and 9 releases are capable of creating surround sound throughout the space thanks to 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology. This system allows you to create multiple virtual speakers in areas where there are no physical speakers, such as on the ceiling. In this way, a sound is generated with a wide sound field that surrounds the viewer from all directions, without the need for more speakers.

With all this, settings for Voice Zoom 3 technology, acoustic center synchronization, BRAVIA Theater audio products and other TV functions can be controlled from the BRAVIA Connect application (formerly Home Entertainment Connect app) without displaying the menu bar on the TV screen while watching a movie.

Users can now reserve these new Sony televisions from 2,999 euros in the case of the BRAVIA 7 model, from 2,699 euros (BRAVIA 8)and from 4,599 euros for the most advanced version, BRAVIA 9.
