The Xiaomi 14 Ultra officially arrives on the Peruvian market: features and price of the Leica camera phone |  TECHNOLOGY

Xiaomi today announced the launch of its long-awaited Xiaomi 14 series, during an event held in Santiago de Chile, Chile. The new smartphones are also now available in our country. Likewise, the brand made official the arrival of the range of wearables: the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, the Xiaomi Watch S3 and the Xiaomi Watch 2.

One of the notable features of this series is its new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, in addition to the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica.

Features of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra

The mobile has a configuration of quad camera with a range of focal lengths, ranging from 12mm to 120mm, offering fluid exposure adjustments in various situations. It includes a 1-inch LYT-900 image sensor with a dynamic range of up to 14EV for quality images even in low-light conditions.

Completing the quad camera setup are the Leica 75mm floating telephoto camerathe 120 mm Leica periscope camera and the Leica 12mm ultra wide angle camera.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra record in 8K at 30fps in all its cameras, with Leica optics and a 50MP sensor. Its main camera records in 4K at 120fps with up to 5x slow motion effects and full zoom at 60fps in 4K.

Xiaomi 14 Features

This mobile has a 6.36″ CrystalRes AMOLED display and dimensions of 152.8mm x 71.5mm x 8.20mm. Its minimalist design includes a speaker integrated into the screen and an infrared port in the camera decoration. The screen offers a 1.5K resolution and a brightness of 3000 nits, with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz.

The Xiaomi 14 has a triple camera covering a focal range of 14mm to 75mm, with Leica Summilux optical lenses. The main camera has an aperture of f/1.6 and a Light Fusion 900 sensor for a dynamic range of up to 13.5 EV.

Both models have processors Third generation Snapdragon 8 and use Xiaomi HyperOS.

Price and availability

From April 25 to May 9, the pre-sale of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in its 16GB+512GB storage version, at the price of S/.5,499.
