The Peruvian athletes SMK Hazzense and SMK Magia Jr., from the e-sports team SmokeSolid Gaming, managed to place themselves in the TOP 5 of the Major 2 of the US region in the Fortnite Champion Series and obtained a classification to the Upper Bracket of this contest ( category of highest performance competitors), which will allow them to aspire to one of the three places in the international face-to-face tournament of Fortnite.

After two weeks of competition, the representatives of Peru managed to accumulate a score that places them among the best 5 duos in the competition, keeping them close to third position, which will give them a direct classification to the in-person tournament that will be held in Texas, United States. Ismael Villarruel, SMK Hazzense, and Moisés Espinoza, SMK Magia Jr., closed the first stage of Major 2 with 332 points in 7 games played, achieving total victories in two of them and an average of 5.6 eliminations per game. This placed them just 13 points away from the coveted third place in the standings.
