Xbox has shared the news of the independent video games that will arrive on Xbox consoles and PC this year, among which are 33 Inmortals, Commandos Origins and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, from the creators of Life is Strange.

The video game company held the ‘ID@Xbox Showcase 2024’ event, in which it announced new independent video game releases, as well as updates to existing games, such as Palworld and Vampire Survivors.

In this sense, Xbox has announced the cooperative ‘roguelike’ video game, 33 Immortals, will arrive on May 29 with the launch of the closed beta. Developed by the company Thunder Lotus Games, it is an action title that users can try with the ability to play with 32 other friends, in which they will survive the final judgment and the wrath of God, fighting against monsters and final bosses. .

Following this line, the company has also shared the release date of Astor: Blade of the Monolith, developed by C2 Game Studio, which will land for all players on May 30.

In this hack and slash ARPG title, players will control the protagonist, Astor, a warrior who must investigate and explore the planet Gliese to reveal ancient mysteries and understand the disappearance of his ancestors. Additionally, he must fight the evil creatures known as hiltsik, using runic weapons.

Another novelty announced during the event is Commandos Origins, the new installment of the war saga developed by Claymore Game Studios, which will be set in World War II and in which players will be able to take on the role of the protagonist Jack O’Hara or one of his five companions.

With this, users will have to complete a series of war missions framed in historically authentic war environments, something that they will be able to try after the launch of the Commandos Origins closed beta this summer.

On the other hand, Xbox has unveiled Centum, a dark adventure video game developed in an 8-bit graphic format by the company Serenity Forge. In this title, set in enigmatic scenes, players must move through a series of scenarios making decisions to escape, while following the guidance of the narrator. However, these guidelines are not always reliable, which will lead users to question every step. This new title will also arrive in the summer of this year.

The event has also hosted the new video game developed by Don’t Nod (creators of Life is Strange), Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. A narrative title set in 1995, in which the story of Swann, Nora, Autumn and Kat will be revealed, four friends who will live enigmatic adventures and will meet 27 years later to “face the old secret they left behind.”

For its part, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, the sequel to the Odd Bug Studio video game, was also present at the event with a new trailer. Thus, the protagonist Arlo has been shown, who must travel through the northern lands of the kingdom and fight against giant beasts and bandits to defeat an ancient evil.

Among other news, Xbox has shared the Palworld update, including four new Pals creatures that will arrive this year. Likewise, a new trailer for Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns has also been shown, which will arrive on all platforms on May 9.

‘ID@Xbox Showcase 2024’ has also hosted announcements of releases such as Keylocker, a ‘cyberpunk’ action game that will arrive this summer; the battle royale racing game Stampede: Racing Royale; Times & Galaxy, the video game starring a robot reporter who must tell stories throughout the Galaxy, which will be available in June; and Fera: The Sundered, an action RPG that fuses monster hunting with tribe management and building mechanics, due out at the end of the year.

Also appearing have been Jackbox Naughty Pack (2024), All You Need is Help (Fall 2024), Dungeons of Hinterberg (July 2024), Humanity (May 30), and Promise Mascot Agency (2025).
