Hellblade 2, The Rogue Prince of Persia, Ghost of Tsushima and other long-awaited video games releasing in May 2024

The month of May begins with a busy panorama in the video game industry, with several long-awaited releases such as “World of Goo 2”, the arrival on several platforms of previously exclusive games such as “Ghost of Tsushima” and the return of the Warner Bros. fighting game “MultiVersus.” It will also be a month with a good outlook for independent games, with the release of long-awaited titles such as “Little Kitty, Big City” and the retro horror game “Crow Country.”

But without a doubt, May will be the month of “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2,” an exclusive game for Xbox and PC that serves as a sequel to the critically acclaimed “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.” With this title, developer Ninja Theory already promises a wonderful epic inspired by Norse mythology where the eponymous Senua fights both external threats and her demons. The game releases on May 21 and will be included in PC GamePass.

It’s not the only early release, with the recently announced “The Rogue Prince of Persia” arriving in early access mode on May 14. Developed by the team behind the successful platform game “Dead Cells”, this new version of the Prince of Persia will be a ‘rogue-like’ where the titular character will have to battle again and again against an invasion using the acrobatic combat that we expect of the franchise.

The month will also be interesting for remakes, with two on the way to consoles. The first is the new version of the classic PC game “System Shock”, which finally arrives on PlayStation and Xbox this May 21 after a year of being released on PC. Fans of the “Paper Mario” saga will also have something to celebrate with the release of perhaps the best game in the franchise, “The Thousand Year Door”, on May 23.

Finally, one of the best PlayStation exclusives can finally be played on PC with the re-release of “Ghost of Tsushima” on May 16 in its “Director’s Cut” version, which allows you to play the original title, its expansion “ Iki Island” and its multiplayer “Legends”.
