Logic Pro is renewed on iPad and Mac to create music with artificial intelligence

Apple announced new versions of Logic Pro software for iPad and Mac, introducing significant advancements. The new Logic Pro is equipped with advanced features powered by artificial intelligence, which assist musicians in the creative process while maintaining complete artistic control. The new Session Player feature extends the capabilities of Logic Pro’s popular Drummer, introducing Bass Player and Keyboard Player. These AI-generated virtual musicians can play based on the feedback they receive, allowing for unprecedented personalization of musical performances. The Bass Player, for example, offers different style and intensity options, while the Keyboard Player can vary between simple block chords and complex harmonic expressions.

Stem Splitter is another new feature that allows artists to separate and manipulate the individual components of an audio recording. This tool is ideal for artists who want to refine old recordings or explore new creative possibilities with their tracks. Finally, ChromaGlow uses AI to add warmth and depth to audio tracks. Offering multiple saturation options, ChromaGlow allows users to find the perfect tone for every composition. Logic Pro for iPad transforms the device into a portable recording studio, optimized for the touch interface and capable of managing complex projects thanks to the power of Apple chips. The Mac version, meanwhile, offers advanced features for professional studio-level production.

Logic Pro for Mac (version 11) will be available on the Mac App Store starting May 13, as a free update for existing users or at a price of €229.99 for new buyers. For the iPad version (the 2), the software will be available at the same time as a free update or for a monthly subscription of €4.99 or an annual subscription of €49. Both versions require Apple’s latest operating systems.
