Google Essentials brings Google’s most popular mobile apps and games to Windows computers

Windows PC users will be able to access Google’s mobile apps and games through its new Essentials app, which brings together a set of popular Google services.

Google Essentials is a new app designed to bring the tech giant’s mobile services, such as Photos, Messages and Play Games, to Windows computers. It can be run from the start menu and will make it easier to switch between laptop and mobile.

This application can be installed when setting up a new computer, although the user can later uninstall certain services or the entire application if they wish, as detailed in their official blog. It will first arrive from brands such as Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, OMEN, Victus and HP, with the intention of making it available on more computers in the future.

Essentials also includes shortcuts to Docs, Drive and Calendar, and some Google One subscribers can also get a two-month trial of 100GB of cloud storage.
