Shortly after midnight, the head of the Arabic department of the IDF press service, Colonel Avichai Edraei, issued a warning to residents of the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiya about planned attacks on Hezbollah targets.
Shortly after the warnings, Al-Mayadeen TV reported that the IDF was carrying out strikes in Dahiya. The target of the attack appears to have been weapons depots, as the video shown by the TV channel showed secondary explosions.
On Tuesday, November 12, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces published explanatory materials showing that Hezbollah located weapons depots and missile factories in the center of residential areas.
One of Hezbollah’s largest military installations was discovered by Israel back in 2020. It was located under a residential complex of five apartment buildings housing 50 families, 85 meters from the school. The facility produced various types of weapons, including long-range, precision-guided missiles capable of reaching any point in Israel.
