More than a dozen dead in IDF bombings against different parts of the Gaza Strip

At least 14 Palestinian civilians have died, including children, and around thirty have been injured in the afternoon and evening of this Friday as a result of a new wave of air attacks by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) against different points. of the Gaza Strip.

Of the total number of victims, seven people have died in bombings against buildings in the Zeitoun neighborhood, in Gaza City, in the north of the Strip, as reported by the pan-Arab television network Al Jazeera.

For their part, three other people have died in Khan Yunis, in the south of the Palestinian enclave, in an Israeli attack against a house near tents that serve as shelter for displaced people in the area and which has also left 24 injured.

The same media outlet later reported at least one new death in Khan Yunis, this time the result of an IDF attack on a home located in the eastern area of ​​the camp, in Sheikh Nasser. This attack has also resulted in a yet to be determined number of injuries, including several children.

The authorities of the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have reported in their latest official report published this Thursday that to date 44,056 deaths and 104,268 injuries have been confirmed due to the offensive launched by Israel against the enclave. after the attacks of October 7, 2023.

However, he added that “there are still victims among the rubble and lying in the streets, without ambulances and Civil Defense teams being able to reach them,” so the number of victims could be much higher. Gaza authorities have repeatedly claimed that at least 10,000 people are listed as missing.
