The meeting of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran Jeihun Bayramov and Abbas Araghchi was held in the Iranian city of Mashhad.
According to Azerbaijani media, the ministers discussed regional developments, as well as transport issues, in particular the issue of the creation of sub-structures that should connect the main territory of Azerbaijan and the autonomous republic of Nakhichevan through the territory of Iran.
The head of the foreign political department of Azerbaijan left for Iran today in order to participate in the 28th meeting of foreign ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
