Jablonski: “EU is working on the 7th package of sanctions against Russia”

The European Union has already begun work on the 7th package of sanctions against Russia.

The statement came from Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Jablonski.

“Sanctions on gas should be even tougher, because Russia can still sell it, on SWIFT, because all Russian banks should be shut down, I mean Gazprombank in the first place,” said the Polish Deputy Foreign Minister.

According to Yablonsky, the embargo on technologies is also needed, as Russia is still able to receive and use them.

“Apart from sanctions, it is necessary not only to freeze Russian assets in Europe, but also to confiscate them. “Work in that direction continues,” Jablonski said.

On June 3, the Council of the European Union approved the 6th package of sanctions against Russia, which, in particular, imposes a “delayed embargo” on Russian oil and oil products imported by sea.
