A court in the Gaza Strip has sentenced to death a resident of the Gaza Strip found guilty of collaborating with Israel.
Note that, according to Palestinian law, the execution of a sentence requires the approval of the chairman of the Palestinian Authority.
However, the terrorist group Hamas, ruling in the Gaza Strip, considers the head of the PA, Mahmoud Abbas, illegitimate, claiming that his term of office expired more than 10 years ago.
