Beirut: «Al-Khaleej» Lebanese Defense Minister Maurice Slim, yesterday, Friday, called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to stop its violations and violations of the ceasefire agreement, and to stop its attacks on southern villages, in conjunction with continuing violations of the agreement that entered into force on November 27 last. Despite its implementation on the ground, the day before yesterday, with the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the city of Khiam and the entry of the Lebanese army into it, in cooperation with the UNIFIL forces and in coordination with the Supervision and Monitoring Committee. Slim discussed with the Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun, and the Chief of Staff, Major General Hassan Odeh, in Yarzeh, northeast of Beirut, the security conditions in the country, especially in the south.
