Italian journalist fainted after interview with Maria Zakharova

Italian journalist Massimo Giletti lost consciousness during a live broadcast by the La7 channel from Moscow. The presenter became ill after he finished a video interview with the press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

After that, the program went on commercials. According to TASS, Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov, who was in the studio, helped his colleague. After returning to the air, Giletti thanked Solovyov, and also said that the cause of fainting could be a lack of sugar or cold weather.

One of the topics of the interview was the growing isolation of Russia. According to Zakharova, the Russian authorities do not intend to lower the iron curtain, and the initiative to break off relations comes from Western countries.

Note that both against Maria Zakharova and against Vladimir Solovyov, who is considered the main propagandist of the Russian regime, Western states have imposed personal sanctions.
