A 13-year-old girl was found dead on the street in Clessé, France, on Thursday morning. A local resident found her body. What exactly happened is not clear. A suspect was arrested.
At around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, a local resident found the girl’s body on the street in Clessé, near the village school. She had been killed with a stab in the throat, the French channel learned BFM TV† The resident called 911, who came to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the death. A psychological cell has also been set up to receive her school and classmates.
Investigators suspect the girl was murdered. She had disappeared on Wednesday evening and nothing had been heard from her since. French media report that her sweetheart, a 14-year-old boy, has been arrested as a suspect, but that has not yet been confirmed. A press conference will follow later today at which more details will be given.
