Israelis slam Channel 13 Gil Tamari: A great fool, unparalleled impudence, shame to Jews

Update – Gil Tamari published a reiterate and apology

News reporter 13, Gil Tamari, entered the holiest place in the world for Muslims, where it is forbidden by state law to enter if you are not a Muslim, and was heavily criticized: “Why are you hurting Muslims’ feelings and causing a crisis with the Saudis?”

News 13 boasted last evening (Monday), with an article by reporter Gil Tamari, when he entered the holiest place in the world for Muslims, Mecca in Saudi Arabia, where it is forbidden by state law to enter if you are not a Muslim.

After the broadcast of the article, Tamari was criticized by Muslims and Jews for claiming that he despised the holy laws of Islam for Muslims.

Resentment arose among Israelis who sharply criticized Channel 13. Many wondered if it was not possible to simply send a Muslim reporter to Mecca so that he could bring the documentation without violating local law.

The reactions on social media were not long in coming when Twitter users slammed Tamari: “There is no end to his idiocy. Real insolence. You know very well that only Muslims are allowed to enter. So why are you doing this? Why are you hurting Muslim feelings? You really are a big fool.”

“I watched the article tonight and was ashamed. I could not believe that you were so proud of your ability to infiltrate a holy city of Islam while creating tension. Unexpected and very disappointing.”

“Gil Tamari – On you, I wouldn’t believe. I appreciated you so much until now. So why the hell did you do that? To cause a conflict with Saudi Arabia?”

Saudi activist and blogger Mohammed Saud added in Hebrew: “My dear friends in Israel, your reporter entered the holy city of Mecca for Islam, and photographed without shame! it’s like I would enter the synagogue and read the Torah… Shame and Disgrace for Channel 13, you will be ashamed for hurting the religion of Islam, you are rude”

“Disgrace, you have shamed us Jews for a bit of attention . A disgusting man and I wish you would be declared a persona non grata in all Arab countries.”

Hopefully the State of Israel will turn you over to the Saudi authorities.
