Iran: Middle Eastern countries should trust the Islamic Republic, not the US

The head of the press service of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, said that Middle Eastern countries should trust Iran, not the United States.

The statement was made against the backdrop of ongoing Iranian attacks on neighboring states.

Abolfazl Shekarchi warned regional governments against over-reliance on what he called America’s “empty power,” saying the United States cannot protect its own forces or ensure the security of Muslim countries.

He called on regional states to unite in action against the United States and Israel.

Meanwhile, after midnight on March 14, there were reports of a series of explosions in the United Arab Emirates, particularly in Dubai, and Bahrain.

There were also reports that Qatar’s air defense forces were repelling a missile attack from Iran.
