On the eve of the court hearing on Sokhnut, the Israeli Ambassador to Moscow met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation

On Thursday, August 18, Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Israeli Ambassador Alex Ben-Zvi.

The press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry clarifies that the meeting took place at the request of the representative of Israel.

The content of the meeting is briefly described: “The topical issues of the further development of Russian-Israeli relations were discussed. International and Middle Eastern problems of mutual interest were also touched upon.”

It should be noted that the meeting took place on the eve of the court hearing on the suit of the Russian Ministry of Justice on the liquidation of Sokhnut. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, August 19.
