Iran confirmed the death of the head of the IRGC Navy, who was responsible for the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz

On March 26, the IDF press service reported that the Israeli Air Force, acting on the precise guidance of AMAN and the Israeli Navy Intelligence Directorate, struck Bandar Abbas and eliminated Alireza Tangsiri, who had commanded the IRGC Navy for the past eight years.

“He was directly responsible for the terrorist activities of mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
