In Turkey, there was a school shooting for the second time in two days, there were dead

At least nine people were killed and 13 injured in southeastern Turkey’s Kahramanmaraş province when a 14-year-old student opened fire inside a high school. Eight children and a teacher were among the dead.

Provincial Governor Mükerrem Unlüer said the student had five small arms belonging to his father, a retired police officer, and seven magazines. He was killed during the incident. The condition of six victims is critical. The motive for the crime is being established.

This is the second such incident in the last two days. On April 14, in southeastern Turkey, an 18-year-old youth opened fire with a shotgun at his former school, wounding 16 people before committing suicide. Among the victims is a teacher, his condition is assessed as serious.
