Turkey does not recognize the annexation of Crimea. Erdogan

Speaking at the “Crimea Platform” conference held online today, Turkish President Recep Erdogan reminded that Ankara did not recognize the annexation of Crimea, which it has openly announced since the first day.

“Our country’s position on the Crimean issue is based not only on the letter of the law, but also reflects Ankara’s principled moral position. The return of Crimea to Ukraine is a requirement of international law. The preservation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and political unity is important not only for the region, but also for global security and stability,” Erdogan said.

The President of France, the Chancellor of Germany, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, and the President of Georgia also participated in the “Crimea Platform” online conference.
