The water in Berlin’s indoor swimming pools is getting a little warmer again. The swimming pool companies announced that the temperature will be increased across the board from 26 to 27 degrees starting next Monday. This is possible because the state of Berlin is making additional money available this year.
At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the water temperature in the indoor swimming pools was reduced by two degrees. Many people would have liked to increase the temperature in the pools again. “We are happy to comply with this request within our means,” said the pool companies.
The new subscription memberships in three different tariffs were well received, according to the pools. Since January, almost 2,700 subscription contracts have been concluded – almost three times as many as there were last annual tickets.
The multiple ticket with 20 entries for the Berlin outdoor pools has been on sale for a few days. It is transferable and is valid all summer long in all outdoor pools, regardless of the respective pool category. It costs 70 euros in advance at the ticket offices of the open indoor swimming pools. From the start of the summer season on May 1st, the regular price of 80 euros applies.
