Lebanon reports that 12 more people were killed in the Israeli strike

Lebanon reports that 12 more people were killed by the Israeli strike, on the threshold of the US-brokered negotiations starting tomorrow. According to the country’s Ministry of Health, there are two children among the victims.

The Israeli side claims that it is targeting Hezbollah terrorists located in southern Lebanon, urging local residents to leave about a dozen towns and villages.

The US-brokered ceasefire was initially announced for ten days, then extended for three weeks, which means it should expire at the end of this week.

The US State Department announced that it will hold two days of talks starting tomorrow “to reach a comprehensive peace and security agreement”.
