The Honduran government has announced the designation of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as terrorist organizations.
The decision was taken at the direction of Honduran President Nasri “Tito” Asfura.
The Foreign Ministry statement said that with the decision, Honduras brings its security policy into line with the position of other strategic partners and international organizations, emphasizing its readiness to actively participate in maintaining global stability and peace.
Let us recall that two days ago the IRGC and Hezbollah were added to the terrorist list by the Dominican Republic, on March 31 the IRGC was declared a terrorist organization by Argentina, and on March 8 by Costa Rica.
