Mo Idrissou: Does the Bundesliga star sleep in his fashion store?

Dillingen (Saarland) – The small fashion boutique owned by Mohamadou “Mo” Idrissou (46) was intended to bring a touch of glamor to the city of Dillingen (Saarlouis district, 21,000 inhabitants). But five months after the pompous opening, the shine has faded. Behind the white facade it now looks more like a standstill.

In the shop window in Dillingen (Saarland) they are still standing, the dolls with tight-fitting suits, colorful, wide-brimmed hats and expensive-looking accessories. Next to it are a pair of mini boxing gloves and ties. There is a yawning emptiness in the tiled room behind it. A small counter, an upholstered leather stool. A single, white shelf, only every other compartment is stocked. You can occasionally see the owner walking through the back room and talking on the phone. There are several demands for money. Lotto millionaire Chico is said to have transferred 5,000 euros to the ex-Bundesliga star after he talked about account problems and asked for help. A beverage manufacturer from Hinterweidenthal (Rhineland-Palatinate) states that Idrissou commissioned an athlete’s drink and design in the summer of 2025. 5,000 euros were agreed upon for the development of the concept. But: “All invoices have so far remained unpaid,” said the entrepreneur. A player agent and his ex-manager from Frankfurt/Main also say they are demanding money back. BILD also learned from judicial circles that Idrissou has a criminal record for fraud and embezzlement, among other things, and that investigations are currently underway against him.

Idrissou is said to often spend the night in the store

Even outside opening hours, Idrissou often seems to be in his “Oscar Germany” store (apparently there is also a store in Paris). He was still there in the evening, when the deserted pedestrian zone was already dark. The next morning he was there while other stores were still closed. An acquaintance told BILD: “Mo now often sleeps in his branch. He has been thrown out of his apartment.”

Things are apparently not going well for his luxury boutique either. Starting next month, the “Closed” sign will be permanently hanging on the door. A businesswoman told BILD: “Mo told me a few days ago that he was going to close. The sales just weren’t right.” This had happened Idrissou before the opening still shown to be optimistic. At the time he said: “I’m bringing more celebrities to Dillingen than ever before.”

There were appetizers and champagne at the opening

The former professional footballer (among others) set up his shop 1. It’s usually dark inside, and he doesn’t advertise. There isn’t another men’s outfitter anywhere in the area. But who’s supposed to go in if you can’t find a single price tag outside? You think it’s all unaffordable.”

Idrissou remains silent about the allegations

As if he had come to prove the woman wrong, a man suddenly appears in front of the “Oscar”, which was actually closed on Monday. He makes a phone call, then Idrissou opens the door. 45 minutes later the man leaves the store with a shopping bag. Later we also knock and the ex-footballer unlocks the door. “Yes, please?” asks Idrissou, who is wearing a black and gold tracksuit with a diamond pattern. He looked at BILD’s business card skeptically when the reporter told him about it fraud allegations told.
